About insulated.ie

A clearer starting point for insulating your home in Ireland.

Understand your options before you get a quote

Which part of your home should you insulate? What might it cost? Which grants are worth checking? Our guides help you prepare those questions before you speak to a contractor.

Who reviews this site

Rudy Greene reviews our guides and tools. That review is not an insulation professional’s assessment, and the site has not been reviewed by an insulation professional.

We do not carry out home surveys, install insulation or approve grants. SEAI, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, runs the grant schemes we explain. We are independent of SEAI and do not represent an insulation contractor.

What you can use here

Start with our insulation guides to compare attic and wall options, understand grant routes and prepare for contractor quotes. Each guide lists its sources and when its sources were last checked.

The grant eligibility check uses your answers about your home to show possible grants beside published insulation costs. Those costs are historical benchmarks, not a quote for your home. You can see your result without sharing contact details.

What happens if you ask for a callback

We store your request so we can respond about insulating your home. We do not send your request to installers, and no installer or quote is promised. The privacy page explains which details we save and how to request their deletion.

How the site is funded

We fund this site ourselves. We do not currently receive payment for callback requests or contractor introductions. If that changes, we will explain the arrangement here and beside the request form before you send your details.

Read our editorial policy for how we use sources, or contact us to report an error.
