insulated.ie is an information site for homeowners in Ireland. You can read the guides and use the checker without paying. We do not survey homes, install insulation or approve grants.
Guides and technical decisions
General information only; have a qualified contractor or assessor check what suits your home.
Guides explain published information and link to their sources. Your home may need different materials, ventilation or preparatory work. Arrange a survey with a qualified contractor or assessor before deciding on work. Check the current grant rules with SEAI, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, using the source links in the guide.
Checker results
These results depend on your answers; confirm grant conditions with SEAI and the price with your contractor.
Published costs describe earlier jobs, not an offer or quote. Possible grant amounts are not an approval. Follow the checks listed in your result before applying or agreeing to work.
Callback requests
Submitting the form asks us to respond about insulating your home. It does not book a survey, order work or create a contract with an installer. We do not send your request to installers, and no installer or quote is promised.
We do not currently receive payment for callback requests or contractor introductions. The privacy page explains how your details and consent choices are stored, and how to ask for deletion.
